My Procrastination Angel

Create a drawing of anything you want - one that would take multiple weeks to complete

From this prompt came my procrastination angel - an artistic embodiment of how I fall victim and feel helpless to my own unproductive tendencies. At the beginning of this project, I put off doing the difficult line work and shading, contemplating leaving it as a sketch to be submitted. I felt as powerless as the crouched figure in the piece I was bringing to life. As time went on, I kept adding more and more and found that I was overcoming the feeling of lingering doom and was overcoming the very task I was afraid of.

Every-time I look back at this drawing, I am reminded of that transformative journey. I am reminded that every task that seems overwhelming, just needs the quiet and diligent care that I showed this piece.
